    How to Use Wheatberries

    • Cook like rice:
    Use 1 cup wheatberries + 3 cups water or broth.
    Simmer 45–60 minutes until tender.
    Perfect for salads, soups, casseroles, and grain bowls.

    • Overnight soak option:
    Soak 6–12 hours to reduce cook time to 25–30 minutes.

    • Slow cooker method:
    2 cups wheatberries + 6 cups water.
    Cook on LOW 6–8 hours.

    How to Mill Wheatberries into Flour

    • Use any home grain mill (electric or hand-crank).
    • Grind on fine setting for soft whole-wheat flour.
    • One cup of wheatberries yields about 1½ cups of fresh flour.
    • For lighter baked goods, sift once after milling to remove the coarse bran (optional).
    • Store freshly milled flour in the refrigerator or freezer for peak freshness.
