The azaleas are in full bloom here at Kindred Acres—one of our favorite signs that spring has truly arrived. A gentle reminder that in every season of waiting, beauty is still on its way. There’s something special about the first day of spring on the farm. It doesn’t arrive loudly… it eases in gently, like a quiet promise kept. February on the farm is a season of waiting — for calves to be born, gardens to grow, azaleas to bloom, and rain to fall. The quiet work of preparation reminds us that waiting is never wasted.

Out here at Kindred Acres Farmstead, the stillness is never empty. It’s the kind of quiet where you can hear your own thoughts again… and, more importantly, the Lord’s gentle nudging.
